Lamprey Networks Announces Version 2 of Health@Home Standards-Based Hub to Address Remote Health Monitoring
Durham, NH – May 30, 2015 – Lamprey Networks, Inc. (LNI), the flexible choice for standards -based remote health monitoring, today announced the availability of its Version 2 of Health@Home hub solution. The Version 2 of Health@Home aggregates medical data such as vital signs from personal care devices according to recently adopted ContinuaTM Guidelines for open remote management. The new guidelines define mechanisms by which a cloud platform can communicate with the hubs and create secure sessions that persist across interruptions in connectivity. The Version 2 of Health@Home is designed for use in homes and care institutions, and, supports up to 64 users per a single hub.
The Version 2 of Health@Home enables health care providers to support multiple users using voice recognition software. This provides a scalable approach and simple user experience for households and care centers with more than one user. The Version 2 of Health@Home provides voice prompts when measurements are taken. The measurements are then seamlessly integrated with respective individual’s electronic health records.
Future enhancements to the Health@Home solution will also include enterprise-grade remote management provided in partnership with InterDigital. InterDigital’s oneMPOWERTM platform provides M2M/IoT application enabling services that include connectivity, device, data, and transaction management resulting in faster time-to-market, scalable health applications development and lower operation costs. Devices, software upgrades, diagnostic troubleshooting, and user accounts will be remotely managed from a centralized management console.
